About José F. Benítez-Mier

José F. Benítez-Mier is a member in PMA’s litigation department. Mr Benítez-Mier advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, terminations, reductions-in-force and reorganisations, mass lay-offs, wage and hour, privacy rights, equal employment, drug and alcohol testing, medical leave co-ordination, non-compete covenants, progressive discipline and internal investigations of workplace harassment and other workplace grievances, and managing employment conduct on the internet, social networks and electronic media, among others. Mr Benítez-Mier received a BA in Economics from Fordham University and a JD from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
