About James Phillips

James Phillips is litigation leader for BakerHostetler’s Houston office, overseeing more than 40 litigators, and is deputy chair of the product liability and toxic tort team. A trial lawyer, he defends manufacturers, sellers, premises owners and contractors in product liability, construction and commercial litigation. He also advises corporate clients in crisis and catastrophic matters, including incident response, product investigations and recalls, project management, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) investigations, and proceedings before the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
