About Uwe Goetker

Uwe Goetker co-heads McDermott’s restructuring and insolvency team in Germany. He focuses his practice on all issues arising from corporate insolvencies and restructurings (both solvent and insolvent). Furthermore, he assists with a broad array of issues, including M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, private equity, joint ventures, insolvency law, financing and refinancing, and distressed debt/claim transactions. Uwe has vast experience in complex cross-border restructurings and transactions and has advised clients on successful acquisitions out of some of the most high-profile German insolvency proceedings.
