About James P. Harris

James P. Harris is the chair of Sheehan Phinney’s litigation department. He represents clients in a wide variety of litigation and pre-litigation disputes, including matters involving real estate. He represents developers that have been wrongfully denied municipal permits or approvals as well as developers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers involved in construction disputes including actions to obtain or invalidate mechanic’s liens and developers and design professionals involved in claims related to faulty work products as well as landowners engaged in adverse possession claims and other similar matters. He harnesses advanced e-discovery tools and techniques to litigate matters to their appropriate conclusion with focused efficiency to deliver high-quality advice and service to the firm’s clients.
