About Jose Mariano Bermúdez

Jose Mariano Bermúdez has worked at KPMG since 1999 and is the head of the advisory practice in Costa Rica. He has participated in and co-ordinated multiple company valuation projects, concerning due diligence, M&A, determination of share exchange ratios, tax planning, structuring and integration of companies and divisions. His greatest experience is in financial consulting, with a specialisation in corporate finance and investments. He has worked in financial, accounting and tax consultancy, stock brokerage, banking services, private and administrative contracting, and judicial collection. Among other qualifications, he holds a Master’s of Science in Finance with the University of Florida (2004) and a law degree from the University of Costa Rica (1998).
