About Elyssa Kutner

Elyssa Kutner counsels clients on all aspects of US customs law. Her practice focuses on matters related to the importation of merchandise into the United States, including classification, valuation, country of origin determinations, country of origin marking requirements including the “Made in USA” mark, free trade agreements, duty preference programmes and trade enforcement actions such as the Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs. Elyssa also regularly represents clients before US Customs and Border Protection in administrative proceedings and in enforcement actions. Prior to joining Sidley, Elyssa was an associate at a leading international trade law firm in Washington, DC and New York.
