About Jen Fernandez

Jen Fernandez is a member of Sidley Austin’s global arbitration, trade and advocacy group. She focuses her practice on international trade compliance, specifically export controls and economic sanctions, and US foreign investment reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). She advises clients on export controls and sanctions risk assessments and national security risks, including in connection with investments, offerings and acquisitions. Jen also conducts internal investigations, handles voluntary self-disclosures, and designs and implements trade controls compliance programmes.
