About Alberta Giannotti

Alberta Giannotti is an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. She focuses her practice mainly on EU and Italian banking and financial law and regulation. She advises clients on a broad range of banking and financial regulatory matters, with particular focus on compliance issues arising from the implementation of regulatory reforms, including those relating to capital requirements, corporate governance, bank recovery and resolution, payment services, anti-money laundering and the new DORA and crypto-asset frameworks. She joined the firm in 2017. From 2020 to July 2023, she worked in the Supervisory Department of the Bank of Italy.
