Nuno Marques Antunes
is a partner at Miranda & Associados, who co-heads the energy and natural resources, and public law and regulatory practice areas. He was responsible for the launching of the firm’s offices in Timor-Leste (2007) and London (2012). Nuno’s practice focuses on public, regulatory, M&A, environmental, tax and foreign investment law, primarily in the oil and gas, mining, and energy sectors. In addition to Portugal, he works with jurisdictions such as Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe, and other francophone Africa countries. Nuno is a law of the sea expert, who has advised Portuguese and Timor-Leste government entities. He has lectured in several Portuguese universities.
