About Matthew Biben

Matthew Biben brings an invaluable client-side approach at King & Spalding to problem-solving, drawing on his own experience as a former Executive Vice President and General Counsel of two global banks and as a state and federal prosecutor in Manhattan. Matthew focuses his practice on complex negotiation and litigation of disputes, including civil litigation, regulatory and enforcement matters on behalf of both individuals and organisations. He routinely acts as counsel in matters involving, among others, the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Reserve Board, Office of Comptroller of the Currency, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, New York Department of Financial Services, state attorneys general and foreign regulators.
