has been a lawyer in Macau since 2003 and is currently senior partner of Rato, Ling, Lei & Cortés (with offices in China, Macau and Portugal). Pedro has extensive experience in gaming, corporate, finance, capital markets and arbitration law. He is registered with the Macau Lawyers Association, the Brazilian Bar Association (São Paulo), the Justice Department of Guangdong, China (cross-border Macau lawyer), the Portuguese Bar Association and can also practise in East Timor. He is a member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, the International Bar Association (IBA), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIA). He has lectured at the Portuguese Catholic University (Lisbon School) and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Pedro has also been a contributor to several publications and is a regular speaker at conferences.
