About Margo Tank

Margo Tank is the global co-chair of DLA Piper’s financial services sector and the co-chair of the US financial regulation & technology group. She advises commercial enterprises, financial institutions, and technology companies on the full spectrum of legal and regulatory matters related to the use of electronic signatures and records, smart contracts and blockchain technologies to offer products and services electronically including with respect to the creation, perfection, transfer and securitization of financial assets and non-financial assets such as carbon credits. She also advises businesses on laws enabling money transfers and remittances, including virtual currencies and other emerging payment and lending mechanisms. Margo also advises on matters related to privacy and data security, the use of artificial intelligence, and on other consumer protection laws.
