About Maria Ojeda

Maria Ojeda is a real estate associate in DLA Piper’s Miami office and a key member of the firm’s national and local client teams. Born in Colombia, Maria brings strong language and cultural fluency to transactions, assisting clients from Latin America and Spain investing in Florida and across the US. She is currently working on a series of acquisitions, financings and development projects for several Spain-based family offices with offices in Miami and leads the real estate team on corporate acquisition transactions involving healthcare, dental and aviation real estate assets. Maria also supports the firm’s financing teams, providing Florida-specific guidance and serving as a transfer tax specialist within the real estate group.
