is a partner at Kramer Levin focusing on regulatory banking and financial transactions, assisting banks, investment firms, and life insurers on questions relating to the creation of regulated institutions, internal organisation, compliance, financial products distribution, cross-border banking and financing. Hugues regularly represents clients before the sanctions commissions of French regulators (both the AMF and ACPR). He advises major corporates, both at the investigation and disciplinary levels, and acts in judicial litigation involving the liability of regulated institutions. He is co-author of a reference book published in September 2013 (Cross-Border Banking and Finance Rights: Legal Aspects and Practices for Access into the French Market).
