About Hans-Joachim Hellmann

Hans-Joachim Hellmann is a partner at SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz, where he heads the competition practice group. Hans-Joachim has extensive experience of advising and representing clients in cartel cases before the EC and the German Federal Cartel Office, as well as German and European courts, and of conducting antitrust compliance programmes and internal audits. He is regularly involved in landmark cartel proceedings involving matters such as wire harnesses, freight forwarding, bathroom fittings and pesticides. In addition to being one of the leading German practitioners in follow-on damage claim proceedings, Hans-Joachim advises clients on all levels – from strategic planning to merger control proceedings.
