About Brien Wassner

Brien Wassner serves as global co-leader of Sidley’s Private Equity practice and the New York M&A and Private Equity group, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He represents private equity, multi-strategy asset managers and other private capital investors in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financings and general corporate matters. Brien’s extensive experience working in private equity across assets, industries and geographies has allowed him to advise his clients in highly complex multi-faceted transactions across jurisdictions. He has been recognised in Chambers USA for Private Equity: Buyouts in New York (2022–25).
