About Christopher Ferguson

Christopher Ferguson focuses his practice on technology, privacy and cybersecurity, and communications regulatory matters. He regularly advises on IT and technology matters, including: negotiating and drafting services, outsourcing, and licence agreements; privacy and data protection issues; and legal and regulatory developments in the technology sector. Chris has advised and negotiated services and cloud agreements for essential systems and mission-critical outsourcing arrangements. He has advised on privacy, data protection, the Canadian anti-spam legislation (CASL), consumer protection, communications law, legal compliance, and advocacy before regulators and policymakers. This has included dealings with regulators and participation in proceedings before Canadian courts and tribunals.
