About Michael Witt

Michael Witt is a partner in Stikeman Elliott’s Calgary office and a member of its commercial real estate group. He advises public, private and institutional clients on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development projects, master-planned communities, joint ventures, ground leases and property leasing. Michael frequently advises on land use and subdivision and development approval matters and has represented developers in water and wastewater utilities and related matters. Michael is active in industry organisations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Alberta District Council, NAIOP Calgary and BILD Calgary Region, serving on the ULI Alberta Board. He was a director of Horizon Housing Society and holds a Certificate in Construction Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
