He has experience advising multinational companies and private equity funds on a range of transactions, including domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, investments and joint ventures, with particular expertise advising Japanese companies on outbound M&A and investments. During a two-year secondment to the legal department of a major international medical device company, Masayuki provided advice on the establishment of B2C e-commerce and on medical industry regulations related to the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law, the Medical Practitioners Law, the Fair Competition Code and the Personal Information Protection Law.
