About Barbara Martinez

Barbara Martinez is a litigation partner in Holland & Knight’s Miami office and co-leader of the firm’s Women in White Collar working group. She is also a member of Holland & Knight’s Global Compliance and Investigations Team. A former federal prosecutor, Ms Martinez focuses her practice on government and corporate internal investigations, corporate compliance and training, white-collar criminal defence and ESG/human rights matters. Ms Martinez regularly represents companies, financial institutions and senior corporate officers and directors in high-stakes matters brought by the US Department of Justice (DOJ), state attorneys general, and other prosecutorial and enforcement agencies.
