About Marina O’Brien

Marina O’Brien is an associate at Holland & Knight whose practice focuses on regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on international trade law. Ms O’Brien assists clients (including US government and defence contractors) with registration, drafting of licences, encryption reviews, voluntary disclosures and compliance under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). She also counsels clients on compliance with US trade embargoes and economic sanctions administered by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC) and the US Department of State. In addition, Ms O’Brien advises clients on Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and industrial security issues.
