About Carlos Cid

Carlos Cid is a legal director at Clyde & Co and specialises in contentious aviation matters, acting for airlines and other aviation entities and their insurers. Carlos also focuses on marine and road transport casualty cases and recoveries for Spanish and non-Spanish insurers, Lloyd’s syndicates and coverholders. His work focuses both on domestic and international cases, covering litigious and non-litigious matters. In particular, Carlos specialises in transport of goods, aviation claims (especially Montreal Convention 1999 and Regulation (EU) 261) and insurance issues. He has a double degree in Law and Business Administration (University of Alicante) and a LLM in International Maritime Law (Swansea University).
