About Bilal Shaukat

Bilal Shaukat is the managing partner of RIAA Barker Gillette Pakistan and is based in Karachi. His chief areas of focus include project finance, M&A and competition law. He has extensive experience in developing power, energy and infrastructure projects, and advises blue-chip clients on complex conventional and Islamic financing transactions. Bilal has also successfully advised clients on major corporate restructurings across a range of sectors. He is often called upon by PSX 100 firms, multinationals, financial institutions and insurance companies to advise on company laws, banking laws and income tax. He has contributed to a range of publications on investment and competition laws in Pakistan.
