About Keith Brodie

Keith Brodie is a partner at Barnes & Thornburg, and administrator of its Michigan labour and employment law department. Keith handles traditional labour law matters under the National Labor Relations Act, including arbitration proceedings, collective negotiations, administration of existing collective bargaining agreements, development of union-free strategies, responding to union-organising, defending against unfair labour practice charges, and developing labour law strategies for operational changes. He also counsels clients regarding Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act and employment discrimination claims, employee hiring, discipline and termination, and reductions in force and Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act compliance, as well as conducting training on labour and employment law topics.
