Jennifer Stocker is a partner and a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Department. Her primary practice emphasis is in the defense of employment litigation filed against employers in state, federal and appellate courts, as well as the defense of charges before state and federal administrative agencies. Jennifer's litigation experience includes the defense of FLSA claims, including workplace class actions, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, and Title VII claims, as well as state law counterpart claims for discrimination, harassment and retaliation. She provides pre-litigation counseling and avoidance advice, ADR, investigation, trial and appellate services, and has broad experience navigating employers through the reduction in force process, including global and complex undertakings. Ms Stocker provides advice and counsel covering all aspects of human resource management, including training, employment practice audits and proactive strategies to assure legal compliance. A member of the American Bar Association (Employment Law Division) and the Michigan Bar Association (Employment Law Division), she regular contributes to the Employment Law blog, BT Currents, as well as lecturing in best practices for employers.
