About Maximilian Hangler-Garulo

Maximilian Hangler-Garulo is a counsel and heads GSK Stockmann’s tax practice in Luxembourg. He specialises in M&A transactions for private equity, real estate and fund structures, focusing on international and Luxembourg tax law as well as European VAT law. Maximilian studied law at the University of Trier, and was admitted to the Bar in Germany in 2015 and the Bar in Luxembourg (Liste IV) in 2025. Before joining GSK Stockmann, he was a lawyer in Germany until 2017, worked at a top-tier audit and tax advisory firm in Luxembourg (2017–22) and was head of real estate tax at a real estate investment group in Luxembourg until 2025.
