About Kai Li

Kai Li is a partner at Fangda, renowned for his liquidation, insolvency and restructuring practice, as well as for commercial litigation and arbitration. He is detailed and considerate, especially when representing investors, creditors and creditors’ committees. With insight into China’s legal, economic and political frameworks, he has successfully handled several restructuring proceedings on behalf of the Chinese government. He is admitted to practise law in China and is a registered member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as vice-director of the Liquidation and Bankruptcy Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association and as secretary of the M&A and Restructuring Club of the Global Finance Leaders’ Forum.
