About Alan Bercow

Alan Bercow joined Appleby in November 2023 and is a partner and member of its Cayman dispute resolution department. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and is on the roster of arbitrations of the Cayman International Mediation and Arbitration Centre. Alan acts on a broad range of corporate and commercial disputes, and has extensive arbitration experience. His clients include companies, directors, high net worth individuals and insolvency practitioners. Alan has extensive experience of parallel, multi-jurisdictional cases involving jurisdictions such as England, the Cayman Islands, BVI, Cyprus and the Isle of Man. Alan has significant experience of cases involving insolvency and shareholder disputes. He also regularly advises on directors’ duties.
