About Matt Mulry

Matt Mulry is a partner within Appleby’s Corporate department and Funds and Investment Services team in the Cayman Islands. Matt’s main areas of practice are investment funds, financial services, regulatory and general commercial work. He has extensive experience in the Cayman Islands where he has advised on the launching and maintenance of hedge funds and private equity funds addressing corporate, regulatory and compliance issues. Matt has been involved in major transactions involving leading investment managers and leading onshore law firms. Prior to joining Appleby, Matt worked as general counsel for a leading investment manager focused on the oil and gas industry, and set up the Cayman Islands office of Ireland’s leading investment funds law firm.
