About Adam Montanios

Adam Montanios joined Montanios & Montanios LLC in 1979, before becoming a partner in 1986, and is now the firm’s managing partner. He specialises in all aspects of maritime law, finance, and corporate and commercial matters. He has represented and advised ship-owners, ship managers, ship charterers, lessors and lessees, local and international banks, and financial institutions on a range of non-contentious matters. He also acts for local and international corporate clients in connection with joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, company restructurings and multi-party business transactions. He graduated from the Greek Gymnasium of Famagusta, and was awarded an LLB honours degree from Hull University. He is President of the Maritime Law Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association and the legal adviser to the Cyprus Union of Shipowners.
