About Simon Grant

Simon Grant is co-head of the banking and secured transactions practice group of Bennett Jones LLP. He practises corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on financing transactions and financial regulation. He routinely acts for borrowers, credit providers and sponsors on loan facilities, complex M&A transactions and financings in the mining sector, including streaming and offtake transactions. Simon is also co-head of the cross-disciplinary fintech practice group of the firm. He advises clients on financial regulation, including fintech companies and foreign financial institutions doing business in Canada.
