About Alison Mellon

Alison Mellon honed her skills as a finance lawyer during her tenure as senior associate in Bowmans’ finance practice, where she advised banks and financial institutions in secured and syndicated lending and particularly in relation to preference share funding and leveraged finance. She applies this expertise in her current designation as Bowmans’ knowledge lawyer in the finance practice. In addition to transactional banking experience, Alison has worked at one of South Africa’s largest asset managers as in-house counsel. She has lived and worked in South Africa and England and is admitted to the Law Society of South Africa.
