About John Pirie

John Pirie leads Baker McKenzie’s litigation and government enforcement group in Canada and is a member of the group’s North American Steering Committee. John is a Chambers-ranked trial lawyer acting for clients in complex business disputes and investigations. He is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in civil litigation. John has acted as lead counsel in dozens of reported Canadian cases, successfully pursuing and defending a range of fraud allegations and other instances of alleged improper conduct carried out by directors, officers, senior management and departing employees.
