is a principal at Baker McKenzie and chair of the global tax dispute resolution practice group, who specialises in corporate income tax, transfer pricing, international tax planning, tax litigation, corporate reorganisations, tax rulings, tax treaties, personal income tax and estate planning. He is a member of the tax committees of the Mexican Bar Association, the IBA and the IFA; a member of the British and Canadian Chambers of Commerce of Mexico; and a founding member of the Legislative Tax Analysis Group (ATRIL). He was presidentially appointed as independent adviser and member of the Mexican Taxpayers' Ombudsman Board.
