About Hugo Sanchez de la Espada

Hugo Sanchez de la Espada is a partner in Baker McKenzie Paris’ corporate/M&A practice group and leads the consumer goods and retail cross-practice sector group. An experienced lawyer in M&A acquisition transactions for French and international clients, Hugo works particularly on acquisitions and sales of French or foreign companies or groups and on domestic, trans-border or multijurisdictional transactions, as well as in joint venture operations. He generally works in corporate law, but also on private equity projects and group restructurings. Hugo is admitted to the Paris Bar and is a graduate of Université Paris 2 Panthéon Assas, Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, the ESCP Business School and HEC Paris.
