About Hugo Sanchez de la Espada

Hugo Sanchez de la Espada heads Baker McKenzie Paris’ corporate/M&A practice. He is experienced in M&A transactions for French and international clients (particularly acquisitions and sales of French and foreign companies) and in domestic, trans-border and multijurisdictional transactions, as well as joint venture operations. In addition to corporate law, Hugo also works on private equity projects and group restructurings. He leads the CG&R cross-practice sector group in Paris and worked at the San Francisco office for two years. Hugo graduated from Université Paris 2 Panthéon Assas, Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, ESCP Business School and HEC Paris Business School. He is admitted to the Paris Bar.
