About Bavo Van Pamel

Bavo Van Pamel is an associate in the tax department of Bird & Bird’s Brussels office, advising domestic and multinational clients on direct and indirect taxation. His work spans corporate, individual and non-profit tax matters, with a focus on R&D and cross-border issues. He also assists clients during tax audits and disputes. Prior to joining Bird & Bird in 2024, Bavo worked at a Big Four firm for over a year, advising on cross-border tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, conducting tax due diligences, and securing advance tax rulings. During that time, he also completed a two-year tax management programme at a business school.
