About Brian Concklin

Brian Concklin is a partner in the antitrust litigation group at Clifford Chance in Washington, DC. He advises clients on the formation and clearance of major merger matters, with a particular focus on compliance with the Hart Scott Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act. Brian also advises on government investigations, the implementation of antitrust compliance, and best practices. He has represented clients before both the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, including responding to Second Requests, both formal and informal inquiries, and, when necessary, negotiating remedies for transactions to obtain clearance. Brian’s representations span numerous industries, including fintech, telecommunications, food and beverage, financial services/banking, private equity, chemicals, agricultural, air and space, and consumer products.
