About John Friel

John Friel is a partner in the antitrust litigation group at Clifford Chance in Washington, DC. He represents corporate and financial institution clients in complex litigation and government enforcement actions. His practice focuses on antitrust, securities, and derivatives matters, both criminal and civil, and he has particular expertise in cross-border matters. John represents clients before a number of US agencies, including the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Commodity Futures Trading Commission, as well as numerous enforcement agencies around the world.
