About Renée Latour

Renée Latour is a partner in Clifford Chance’s Washington, DC office, where she is head of the export controls and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) practices. She has nearly two decades of experience advising clients in international trade regulatory and compliance matters, including complex cross-border and domestic issues involving export controls, economic sanctions, and national security reviews of foreign investment before CFIUS. Renée has extensive experience in the development and implementation of global compliance and training programmes, conducting internal investigations and representing entities in enforcement actions, and negotiating national security agreements with the US government.
