About Fred Onuobia, SAN

Fred Onuobia, SAN is a partner at G. Elias, where his practice covers banking, corporate, structured finance, derivatives, project finance, and securities regulation, among others. He holds an LLB and an LLM from the University of Nigeria and University College London respectively. Fred advises development finance institutions, leading global banks, global multinationals, regulators, and corporates (domestic and foreign) on large, complex derivatives transactions, repurchase, and securities-lending transactions. He is a member of the International Bar Association and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (UK King’s Counsel equivalent).
