About Gonzalo Ardila

Gonzalo Ardila is the head of litigation and arbitration at Hogan Lovells’ Madrid office. Gonzalo has extensive experience in commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration, representing clients from the energy, infrastructure and retail sectors. He is also particularly active in the insurance sector. Gonzalo uses his technical skills, depth of analysis and attention to detail to plan the most effective strategy for each case, and his ability to summarise and easily explain very complex matters in pleadings and hearings. He is a member of the Spanish Arbitration Club and has teaching experience as a professor of civil procedure law in the Master of Private Law of the Madrid Bar Association and in the practicum of ICADE.
