About Ruben Laddé

Ruben Laddé was promoted to counsel in 2024 and is a key member of Freshfields’ Amsterdam IP team. Specialising in patent litigation, Ruben has extensive experience in high-stakes cases, working closely with Rutger Kleemans on significant mandates, including those for Novartis and Moderna. With a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, Ruben’s technical background enhances his ability to handle complex patent disputes. He is an active member of professional IP networks AIPPI and EPLAW, and frequently advises on cutting-edge litigation before Dutch and UPC courts. Ruben is highly regarded for his pragmatic approach and technical knowledge.
