About Julia Braga

Julia Braga is a senior associate in the energy practice at Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in Brazil. She concentrates on administrative and regulatory law, with a focus on the electrical energy sector regarding regulatory, contractual and corporate matters, including power purchase agreements, distributed generation projects, public and private bids, administrative proceedings within government authorities, corporate transactions, and other activities in the power sector. Julia holds a bachelor’s degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, a specialisation in corporate law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a master’s degree in environmental law and policy from Stanford University.
