About Farid Sigari-Majd

Farid Sigari-Majd is a partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and heads the aviation desk in Vienna. He specialises in corporate M&A and restructuring, with a focus on aviation, financial institutions and general industries. Over the last decade, Farid has advised clients on some of the most prominent airline deals and restructurings in the region. He has broad experience in multi-jurisdictional transactions in emerging markets, with a particularly strong footprint in Turkey and the Middle East. He holds a JD and an LLM degree from the University of Vienna. Farid joined the firm's Vienna office in 2005 and speaks Farsi, German and English.
