Ian Hargreaves is a partner at Covington & Burling, advising clients on bribery and corruption, major fraud – both civil and criminal elements – asset tracing & recovery, money laundering, modern slavery, and investigations/compliance matters. He also has experience in corporate and commercial governance, risk management, commercial disputes, and cybercrime. Ian has led some of the highest-profile civil cases in the English Commercial Court and has acted against and/or negotiated with prosecutors such as the SFO and NCA.
