About Carsten Grave

Carsten Grave is a partner in the Düsseldorf office with 20 years of professional experience in competition law. He holds a degree in both law and economics. He specialises in European and German competition law, with a focus on merger control and the co-ordination of multi-jurisdictional proceedings. Moreover, he advises on antitrust-related litigation, state aid cases and cartel proceedings. Carsten has extensive experience in the energy, financial services and logistics/postal services sectors. He teaches at the University of Düsseldorf and regularly publishes on competition law, most recently on topics such as big data, networks and two-sided markets, and private enforcement of competition law.
