About Jan Herrmann

Jan Herrmann advises national and international companies on financial regulatory law. His areas of expertise include the structuring of alternative investments such as closed-end alternative investment funds (AIF), with a focus on ESG-related AIFs. Further, he advises on profit participation rights and other alternative investments. Jan supports clients in financial regulatory law – eg, in BaFin proceedings. He advises, in particular, fund managers on the structuring of closed-end investment funds (VC, PE, private debt, real estate, renewable energies and further asset classes) as well as regarding ESG regulation, both product- and entity-related.
