About Amil Jafarguliyev

Amil Jafarguliyev advises on M&A, antitrust, data and technology, sustainable energy investments and project financing at MGB Law Offices. He contributed to ACWA Power’s USD400 million desalination plant PPP project, assisting with regulatory due diligence and reviewing key project agreements. Amil is also a PhD researcher at the University of Galway in Ireland, where he examines the law and economics of user-retention strategies in digital markets. He holds an LLM in European Business Law from Lund University, with a specialisation in competition law. Moreover, he has taught EU law at ADA University, undertaken research at UNIDROIT in Rome on smart contracts, and published on antitrust and EU law in peer-reviewed journals.
