Afridi & Angell is the exclusive UAE member of a number of the world’s top legal networks and associations, including Lex Mundi and World Services Group. The team advises on a range of non-contentious and contentious employment matters, including employee transfers and workforce reductions arising from corporate restructurings and related M&A transactions, pensions, HR policies, employment contracts, employee handbooks, compensation and incentive schemes, enforcement of non-compete clauses, and negotiating settlements in the event that a matter proceeds to court or arbitration. The team focuses mainly on employer-side representation, advising local and international companies to ensure compliance with UAE and DIFC labour and immigration laws. The firm also has experience representing departing executives.
